At the Southern-Promenade, across from the fishing pier, we are building a structural system composed of wind turbines, flexible photovoltaic cells, vegetation, and a white path. During the biennale, the electricity generated from the turbines and pv’s will operate robotic Darbuka drums, mounted on the columns and creating a hybrid, digital-mechanic drumming circle, a futuristic-traditional acoustic space. Visitors could participate in the design of the musical landscape, through an interface on an iPad.

The street produced combines technology and environment, garden and music, and the public view of the horizon.
